Responsibilities

Oversee all phases of program management, from concept to closure
Serve as primary liaison between Supply Chain Management and other functions for key programs/products
Manage key supplier performance and relationships
Lead supplier recovery strategies, communicating critical issues to internal stakeholders with solution-focused actions
Optimize and manage procurement processes for compliance and efficiency
Develop comprehensive program plans, including schedule, budgets, staffing, and other plan elements
Manage programs to achieve program and business objectives
Monitor program execution, tracking progress against plans and take corrective actions to course correct as necessary
Manage risks and opportunities to ensure program success
Act as the primary interface with customers, ensuring alignment and satisfaction
Provide clear, concise program status updates to both management and customers
Lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve goals
Lead proposal preparation to support new business opportunities

Required

Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 6 years' experience as a Project/Program Manager. Alternatively, graduate degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
Experience in Supply Chain and material planning
Advanced knowledge of Project/Program Management methodologies and practices
Experience in proposal preparation, including developing cost estimates, schedules, and technical content, to support bids and contract negotiations
Excellent communication/presentation skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse personalities and various levels of management
Advanced knowledge of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and its application
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including MS Project, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, with a proven track record of directing teams toward successful project outcomes
Up to 20% of travel may be expected

Preferred

Experience with DoD programs and Provisioning
Subcontract Management experience
Formal training in Project Management
PMI certification (e.g. PMP)
Active DoD security clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet and maintain eligibility requirements for access to DoD classified information
