Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end development of OpenBMC features and subsystems within ILOM, including architecture, implementation, code reviews, unit/integration tests, and documentation
Own key OpenBMC components: Redfish services, PLDM/MCTP stacks, sensor/telemetry frameworks, power/thermal/fan control, FRU/EEPROM, device management, logging, and eventing
Drive BMC bring-up on prototype platforms; develop and debug kernel, device tree/overlays, bootloader (U-Boot), drivers (I2C/I3C, SPI, GPIO, UART, PECI, SMBus/PMBus), and services (systemd, D-Bus)
Implement secure firmware features: secure boot/verified boot, image signing and secure update/rollback, TPM/ROT integration, SPDM attestation, vulnerability remediation (CVE), and hardening
Collaborate with platform, BIOS/EDKII, and GPU teams to deliver cohesive platform management; provide rapid triage for lab issues and qualification
Improve developer productivity via CI/CD (e.g., Yocto builds, test automation, static/dynamic analysis, artifact signing/SBOMs); engage in upstream contributions where appropriate
Support sustaining activities: defect resolution, performance/footprint optimizations, diagnostics, telemetry, and field reliability improvements
