Analyst, Infrastructure Engineering

Future Standard is a global alternative asset manager serving institutional and private wealth clients, investing across private equity, credit and real estate. The Infrastructure Engineer will ensure the seamless operation of infrastructure and support operations of platforms, collaborating with Global Engineering and the Business to achieve these goals.

Responsibilities

Become an internal subject matter expert for the Infrastructure team on various areas of the business and the platforms and best practices necessary to improve that area’s ability to make critical business decisions
Lead or participate as a key contributor in impactful projects within Global Engineering
Engage in design, development, implementation and/or optimization of solutions, improving our technical infrastructure platforms and competitive position
Collaborate and communicate with colleagues and stakeholders
Support tracking of key deliverables, issues and prioritization of tasks within an agile framework
Document designs, solutions, processes and suggest ideas to improve workflows and systems
Design and implement robust solutions to improve the scalability, efficiency and risk profile of technical platform
Dig into system events to track, investigate, and resolve defects as required

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Proficiency in scripting or programming (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash, etc) to automate tasks, analyze data, and support infrastructure operations
Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure) and understanding of hybrid infrastructure models
Comfort working in both Windows and Linux environments, including basic command-line usage
Understanding of basic cybersecurity principles, including access controls, segmentation, and secure configuration practices
Familiarity with infrastructure protocols and configurations, as well as security tools such as firewalls, antivirus software, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint protection platforms
Knowledge of platforms, infrastructure, or network troubleshooting techniques
Analytical and critical thinker with a data-driven decision-making approach
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Team player who enjoys building trusted partnerships with colleagues and stakeholders, with an emphasis on collaboration, empathy, and active listening
High degree of emotional intelligence to support effective collaboration and long-term success
Proven ability to adapt to changing priorities while maintaining professionalism and composure
Effective communicator, able to share complex ideas clearly and respectfully across technical and non-technical teams
