Responsibilities

Drive mechanical design execution through CDR and production phases

Support development efforts of future blocks

Be accountable for the execution of mechanical design, mechanical analyses, and development and execution of test plans

Coordination and collaborate with RSEs and CPEs across the program

Develop integration and test plans

Chair the program's Mass Properties Control Board; evaluating mass allocations and trades between components and within segments

Required

Systems engineering experience with a focus on mechanical deliverables throughout the systems lifecycle

Experience defining and documenting mechanical systems interfaces

Experience with CAD modeling and drafting

Experience with spacecraft design

Experience with mechanical integration, assembly and test

Active or Current Top Secret Clearance or equivalent (i.e. DoE Q) required to start

Preferred

Design for Integration/Testability (DFM) experience

Experience with executing towards a System CDR
