Supplier Quality Field Engineer Staff - Nashua, NH
Lockheed Martin is a leader in aerospace and defense, and they are seeking a Supplier Quality Field Representative Staff for their Supplier Quality team. This role is responsible for ensuring that supplier-provided components meet the company's quality standards through collaboration with internal and external teams.

Responsibilities
Collaborating with internal teams and suppliers to ensure quality standards are met
Implementing and verifying supplier contract requirements
Traveling beyond the assigned geographic area and working flexible hours to support suppliers across the United States
Reducing product and customer risk through continuous‑improvement initiatives and a proactive mindset
Supporting the program team in a challenging environment
Qualification
Required
Candidate must be a US citizen and have ability to obtain a security clearance
In-depth knowledge and experience in Quality processes and procedures, including AS9100 and ISO-9001 Quality Management Systems
Strong understanding of engineering drawings requirements, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and electrical inspection methods
Experience with performing First Article Inspections to AS9102 requirements
Prior electrical engineering experience
Experience with continual improvement practices using causal analysis tools to drive corrective and preventive actions
Must be able to effectively communicate and interface with Suppliers, Quality Program Management, Engineering, Supplier Quality Management, Subcontracts (Buyers) and Government Representatives
Ability to travel up to 25% (domestic)
Additionally, candidates may be required to work in a manufacturing environment that would require standing and the use the appropriate Personal Protection Equipment (protective footwear, eye/hearing protection, electrostatic discharge (ESD) or other protective equipment designed to protect people and/or work assemblies from workplace hazards)
Preferred
Technical degree at the Bachelor level or above from an accredited college (STEM degree)
IPC Standards experience/knowledge (IPC-A-610 and associated J-STD-001) for electronic assemblies
Skills and experience working with complex assemblies containing machined parts, electrical and electronic assemblies (PWAs)
Strong understanding of how to manage and interface with suppliers daily to meet requirements
Risk evaluation and management skills
Auditing knowledge and experience in surveillance process audits
An understanding of APRISO software quality management tools
ASQ Certification, i.e., (1) Certified Quality Engineer (CQE), (2) Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) and/or (3) Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
Lean Six Sigma Certification (Green Belt / Black Belt)
Experience with source inspection, special process surveys, purchase order reviews and surveillance activities at suppliers
Demonstrated leadership and customer relationship management skills
