The Facilities and Real Estate team is seeking a highly analytical Senior Software Engineer to join their collaborative team focused on modernizing complex real estate systems utilizing a modern tech stack.

Responsibilities

Hands-on development work within a cross-functional team environment utilizing agile methodologies
Convert requirements to technical design, develop high-quality solutions, and implement while collaborating with other technical and business areas
Define and communicate development scope, resource estimates, and risks to the product owner and/or manager
Collaborate with product owner and team members to develop features and user stories with clear requirements and acceptance criteria
Convert requirements to technical design, develop high-quality solutions, and implement while collaborating with other technical and business areas
Facilitate technical knowledge transfers and perform peer code reviews
Lead technical team through problem determination and resolution on highly complex problems
Ensure technology solutions and enhancements meet or exceed change management, security, and compliance policies
Ability to participate in production support rotation
Ability to collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and mockups into high-quality code
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to optimize performance, scalability, and maintainability of applications
Stay current with emerging technologies and development trends to help guide architectural decisions and technical strategy

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science or other analytical disciplines, or equivalent experience
5+ years full-stack web development experience leveraging .NET Core (or .NET Framework 4.0 or above) including C#, MVC, Web API, and Microsoft Entity Framework
5+ years of experience working with one or more of the following frontend technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
5+ years of experience designing enterprise class solutions using object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, UML, service-oriented architecture, and solution frameworks
5+ years of experience working with enterprise database management system (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, Teradata, DB2) including database design and authoring complex queries
5+ years of experience analyzing and translating business requirements into technology solutions that consider system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, and scalability
5+ years of experience planning and managing all activates associated with delivering solutions in a large-scale distributed environment
3+ years of hands-on experience building applications using React.js, including reusable components, state management, and modern frameworks such as TypeScript and Next.js
3+ years of experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility using CSS frameworks like Tailwind, Bootstrap, or Material UI

Preferred

7+ years of experience designing, developing, and supporting applications in an enterprise environment
5+ years of leadership experience in driving the work of a team in an agile environment as a subject matter expert, product owner, business analyst, or similar position
5+ years of experience supporting data and process governance of distribution system compliance in accordance with company policies, standards, and SOX requirements
3+ years of experience approving design of complex technical solutions working with architects, engineers, and other technology resources
3+ years of experience with Azure DevOps for managing project tasks, managing code repositories, and creating yaml pipelines for CI/CD builds and deployments
3+ years of experience developing in Azure Databricks
3+ years of experience with Kubernetes, Docker, or other containerization technologies
3+ years of experience with Kafka and event-driven architecture
3+ years of experience performing data analysis by creating and executing complex queries, interpreting results, and communicating findings to technical and non-technical audiences
Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems design
Experience mentoring junior developers and fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning
