Responsibilities
Provides process & measurement support for vehicle & engine testing
Develop/utilize knowledgeable of basic test instrumentation (multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, calibrators and power supplies)
Obtain knowledge of facility systems and their operations
Develop knowledge of data acquisition & control systems
Perform engine troubleshooting, data collection and failure analysis
Complete assignments within a department or activity which utilize the employee’s academic discipline
Travel as required
Qualification
Required
Enrolled in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering undergraduate or graduate program with good academic standing
Fundamental mechanical or electrical engineering courses
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
Developed analytical ability
Minimal travel may be necessary
