PremiStar is seeking a VP of Procurement to lead the procurement department and develop strategic sourcing initiatives. The role involves planning and executing procurement strategies, managing partnerships, and overseeing inventory and purchase orders.

Responsibilities

Planning, implementing and executing the PremiStar procurement strategy

Grow and maintain enterprise partnerships

Regularly communicate department activities, buyouts, trends, systems and products to the enterprise

Continuously manage and update buy lines and programs

Consistent spot checks and order confirmations

Check over quotes for bids

Support quote pricing for PMs

Maintain buyout projections of material for jobs

Stave off increases as best as possible

Coordinate bulk buys, combining jobs to protect costs

Organize materials from inventory write off to go to wholesalers

Maintain contact with jobs in process and upcoming and ongoing projects for savings opportunities

Oversee and delegate purchase job orders

Oversee inventory orders and maintain appropriate inventory levels

Oversee and manage tool programs

Time and Material Tracking
