Power Distribution Engineering Manager
Eaton is a global power management company, and they are seeking a Power Distribution Engineering Manager to lead their Programmatic Engineering team. This role involves standardizing design processes and managing a team to develop automation capabilities for power distribution equipment.

Responsibilities
Subject matter expert for programmatic wiring
Subject matter expert for programmatic automation wiring package
Work with other divisions to develop automation around automation wiring package schematics and wiring from Eaton’s Design Automation tool for programmatic designs
Assist in COE design reviews for Programmatic orders:
Design for Manufacturability (DFM)
Ensure designs are adapted for contracted configuration variability
Develop and drive plan towards automation wiring package point-to-point wiring capabilities in Custom Order engineering teams
Develop and drive harness capabilities in the CPA division
Manage a team of engineers, drafters, and technicians
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in engineering design and manufacturing processes
Minimum of five (5) years of experience with wire automation software packages

Preferred
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution
Experienced Customer Order (COE) Engineer for LV power distribution assemblies, switchboard experience preferred
At least ten (10) years of design experience with LV electrical distribution equipment
Certification for Design for Six Sigma
At least two (2) years of experience designing products under UL 50, UL67, and UL 891 standards
At least five (5) years of experience with Autodesk Inventor
At least five (5) years as a manager of people
