The Senior AV Installation Technician will focus on executing and finalizing mid-to-large scale integration projects, requiring a strong technical base and a collaborative mindset.
Management Consulting
Responsibilities
Lead production installations including wiring, rack building, device setup, and final trim-out
Commission systems with control interfaces such as Control4 and/or Savant
Collaborate with the project manager and client stakeholders to ensure smooth, timely delivery
Troubleshoot and resolve complex AV and networking issues in the field
Serve as a team mentor (informally to start) with the potential to grow into a leadership role
Qualification
Required
Experience in AV or home automation installation
Proficiency with at least one control platform (e.g., Control4 or Savant); programming ability is highly preferred
Ability to operate independently and drive a project to completion
Humble, confident personality; a willingness to pull cable or jump in wherever needed
Valid driver's license and a dependable, punctual work ethic
Preferred
Certifications in Control4, Ubiquiti Unifi, Crestron, or Lutron (not required but highly valued)
Experience working in a collaborative, team oriented environment
Ability to coach and mentor junior technicians, contributing to the overall success of the service team
