Sales & Key Account Manager

The Sales & Key Account Manager will be responsible for sales growth and key account development of Trace Analytics compressed air testing services, formulating sales strategies, and leading a sales team to increase market share.

Responsibilities

Manage Trace Analytics compressed air testing services sales growth
Lead a 3-person sales team by monitoring KPIs, supporting development opportunities, driving efficiencies, and handling customer escalations
Partner with management to implement strategic initiatives through creative problem-solving and teamwork
Build product and solution expertise to empower the team and channel partners to serve as trusted advisors to customers
Lead account penetration strategies, coach distributor personnel, and mentor sales teams in consultative selling to expand market share and differentiate Trace Analytics

Required

5+ years of experience in managing a solutions-based sales team
Experience working with industrial equipment such as filtration systems, dryers, compressors, or similar machinery within manufacturing settings
Demonstrates drive and a strong desire to achieve results and grow within the role
Comfortable representing the company at trade shows, engaging with customers, and promoting products or services effectively
Demonstrates self-motivation and strong leadership skills with a proven ability to hold both self and team accountable to performance metrics and expectations
Excels in verbal and written communication, interpersonal relationships, and customer service across multiple channels including CRM, email, phone, and instant messaging
Builds and sustains high-performing remote and hybrid teams, thrives in dynamic environments, and willingly steps in to support teammates and evolving business needs
Applies critical thinking and robust analytical skills to identify root causes, assess customer needs, and drive effective problem resolution
Skilled at managing multiple projects and communications simultaneously while assisting team members with complex challenges
Ability and willingness to travel up to 30-50% of the time
Will be requested to represent Trace Analytics in a positive and professional manner when needed to attend trade shows, industry functions, or other events

Preferred

Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) in Business, Engineering, Marketing, Management or related areas
