Responsibilities

Apply underwriting expertise to assess risk, review submissions, and apply rating tools in accordance with established program guidelines. Ensure accuracy and consistency in risk evaluation and documentation, making sound recommendations and decisions
Maintain methodical and consistent outbound communication with insureds, agents, and brokers. Actively engage in broker outreach to facilitate productive discussions and track success with targeted agents and brokers
Demonstrate reliability in meeting deadlines, maintaining thorough documentation, and adhering to strict underwriting standards
Maintain a strong working knowledge of carrier forms, products, and the competitive landscape. Stay informed about program strategic direction and growth initiatives, leveraging available resources, marketing materials, and technology
Foster a team-oriented environment by actively participating in group discussions and sharing insights to drive program innovation and growth

Qualification

Required

Holds a P&C license
Collaborative team player who values open communication and shared success
Demonstrates strong underwriting acumen and a high level of reliability
Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement
Skilled at building relationships and driving results in a dynamic environment

Preferred

Relevant college degree preferred
Proficient in MS Office; Excel skills a plus
