They are seeking a Store Systems QA Analyst to partner with development teams in ensuring quality delivery of software features for POS systems, while also defining QA processes and adhering to quality standards.

Responsibilities

Perform testing of system fixes, enhancements, and new functionality to ensure issues are resolved and new functionality is working as designed

Perform new release regression testing to ensure all aspects of applications, including interfaces, are working correctly

Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining functional tests, processes, and strategies

Ensure test results are documented, evaluated, and disseminated; collaborate on troubleshooting issues

Communicate and report on the status of the release test activities to respective stakeholders

Write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test results

Manage competing deadlines in an agile development environment

Provide testing support post-Production of releases

Provide first and second level assistance for store system issues. Provide back-up coverage for Help Desk as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience

One to three years of QA Analyst experience

Strong written and oral communication skills

Understanding of software development lifecycle, particularly as it relates to the QA function

Basic familiarity with SQL or querying relational databases to support troubleshooting activities

Knowledge of defect management processes and experience with technical task management software like JIRA

Hybrid schedule with predictable onsite attendance required three or more days per week to perform essential functions involving interactive behaviors with co-workers and managers, operation or manipulation of equipment and/or materials located only on site, and direct interaction with internal and/or external customers
