New Grad, Entry LevelSynapse ITS is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join their production team in Greenville. This role focuses on machine maintenance, supporting 6S initiatives, and driving small-scale process improvements.

Responsibilities
Perform routine preventative maintenance and basic mechanical repairs on production equipment
Maintain and calibrate soldering stations as needed
Support 6S initiatives and keep the floor organized and audit-ready
Assist with production improvements, documentation, and feedback to engineering
Maintain accurate logs of maintenance and service activities
Follow all safety and ESD protocols
Gain proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and integrate them into daily practices
Capable of working independently or in a team setting
Willing to work occasional off-hours or weekends as needed
Qualification
Required
Highschool Diploma
Prior mechanical or maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Familiarity with 6S or continuous improvement practices
Ability to read basic mechanical drawings or schematics
Comfortable using hand tools and working around production machinery
Comfortable troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining equipment
Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Preferred
Technical schooling or formal mechanical training
If not already certified, able to complete 6S certification
