Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimise interactive Power BI dashboards and reports with scalability, governance, and performance in mind

Connect, clean, and model complex datasets from multiple sources

Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Manage report publishing, workspace organisation, and version control

Recommend enhancements, participate in code reviews, and champion best practices

Own and evolve the Power BI reporting suite

Define KPIs with business leaders and deliver insights that drive performance

Maintain robust data models, pipelines, and governance frameworks

Present insights clearly to non-technical and client audiences

Partner with global delivery teams to maintain and enhance existing dashboards and reporting assets

Qualification

Required

Several years of hands-on experience with Power BI (including DAX, Power Query, and M language), data modelling, and transformation

Proficiency with SQL and relational databases

Familiarity with Azure, SharePoint, and Microsoft Fabric workloads

Strong communication skills — both verbal and written

Proven ability to navigate large, complex IT environments

A collaborative mindset with the confidence to work independently

A proactive, solution-oriented approach to data challenges

Fluency in English

Preferred

Experience with Microsoft Fabric workloads such as Pipelines, Dataflows, and Notebooks

Exposure to Power BI Embedded solutions

Advanced data modelling and transformation capabilities

Familiarity with Data & AI platforms such as Microsoft Fabric

German language knowledge

Experience working in a Fintech organisation delivering solutions to financial institutions
