Responsibilities

Drives a high-performance culture focused on continuous growth, goal achievement, and operational excellence across the region
Responsible for top and bottom-line financials of the region
Defines the go-to-market strategy for both new equipment sales and aftermarket sales and service for the west region and directs the day-to-day activities of the region’s staff in accordance with this strategy
Provides strategic leadership to the sales team, ensuring full-cycle ownership of the sales process—from prospecting to close. Coaches team members to effectively manage opportunities, engage all key stakeholders, and drive consistent execution throughout the sales journey
Establishes clear performance expectations and leverages sales metrics to monitor pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and close rates. Uses data-driven insights to guide coaching, improve team effectiveness, and ensure alignment with growth targets
Develops and delivers accurate sales forecasts, strategic plans, and regional performance reports to senior leadership, providing insights that support data-driven decision-making and growth planning
Leads and supports the regional aftermarket team, overseeing all equipment installed within the territory. Ensures strong service execution and drives high customer satisfaction across service, repair, and technical support functions
Supports key customer accounts, third-party sales representatives, distributors, and large corporate accounts in conjunction with Regional Sales Managers, driving YOY growth
Recruits and hire team members. Works with the company to define and deliver training programs that enable staff to grow and achieve their potential
Defines and oversees staff compensation and incentive programs that motivate the team to achieve the goals for the region
Interacts with the leadership team to develop, revise and implement process improvements
Monitors customer, market and competitor activity, and provides feedback to company
Oversees the support for the order-processing effort, and effectively supports customer follow-up activities throughout the order-execution process
Identifies and works with marketing to deliver marketing plans as required and supports preparations for regional trade shows

Required

Bachelors' degree required
Minimum of 5 (five) years of management experience within rotating equipment or similar industry
Minimum of 5 (five) years of directly managing salespeople or aftermarket operations
Minimum 10 (ten) years of selling Industrial Equipment. Direct experience with low pressure blowers and compressors is a plus
Must be able and willing to travel up to 40% of the time
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to create, navigate, and generate complex reports using Excel and PowerPoint
Intermediate proficiency with ERP systems
Intermediate proficiency with CRM software
Proficient in mathematical calculations, including discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, as well as geometric measurements such as area, circumference, and volume
Demonstrates strong motivational skills and a high sense of urgency to consistently exceed customer expectations and meet deadlines
Results-driven team leader with a proactive approach to performance management and team development
Exhibits a strong sense of ownership and accountability, ensuring responsibilities are executed with excellence and integrity
