Responsibilities
Take ownership of cases originating from internal security and fraud investigations. Draft, prepare, and file necessary legal documents, including complaints, affidavits, and other pleadings to initiate criminal and civil proceedings
Provide legal guidance to the internal investigation teams during the evidence-gathering phase to ensure all findings are legally sound and admissible in court
Develop and execute legal strategies for the successful prosecution of cases and recovery of company assets. Advise management on legal risks and the potential outcomes of litigation
Maintain comprehensive and organized case files. Provide regular, clear updates to management on the status and progress of all pending legal actions
Qualification
Required
Must be a graduate of a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) program and a member of the Philippine Bar in good standing
A minimum of 3-5 years of legal practice, with substantial experience in litigation, particularly in handling criminal cases like theft, estafa, and other forms of fraud
Experience working on corporate security matters is a significant advantage
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Must be able to articulate complex legal issues clearly and persuasively to various audiences, from company executives to law enforcement officials
Demonstrated ability to network and establish effective working relationships with personnel in government agencies and law enforcement
A professional network within these bodies is highly desirable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and an investigative mindset
High level of integrity, professional ethics, and a strong sense of justice
Must be results-oriented, resilient, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision
