Responsibilities

Leading the design team and material‑review engineers, setting technical direction, and ensuring delivery of airframe and mechanical‑installation solutions that meet program requirements

Planning and managing resources, budgets, and schedules using earned‑value techniques and reporting tools to drive lean, schedule‑driven execution

Coordinating staffing, organization, and control of airframe and MR engineering personnel across the portfolio, aligning activities with diverse stakeholder groups and multiple site locations

Overseeing technical adequacy, resource allocations, and tactical support plans for material‑review engineers, while maintaining clear written and verbal communication and traveling domestically as needed to support program milestones

Required

You will need to be a US Citizen

Currently possess and be able to maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance

Successfully pass a drug and background check

Experience in leading the design team and material-review engineers

Ability to set technical direction and ensure delivery of airframe and mechanical-installation solutions that meet program requirements

Experience in planning and managing resources, budgets, and schedules using earned-value techniques and reporting tools

Ability to coordinate staffing, organization, and control of airframe and MR engineering personnel

Experience in overseeing technical adequacy, resource allocations, and tactical support plans for material-review engineers

Ability to maintain clear written and verbal communication

Willingness to travel domestically as needed to support program milestones

Preferred

More than 15 years of relevant experience in air vehicle development, including design, production, test, and sustainment

Experience with all phases of the air vehicle lifecycle

Experience with multiple aerospace platforms

Excellent interpersonal skills

Demonstrated experience engaging and presenting at the executive level internally and externally
