Responsibilities

Recruit and mentor academically outstanding faculty members
Grow multidisciplinary clinical programs
Oversee the education of medical students and residents in Genetics
Expand research activities and participate in collaborative research projects within the division and with other departments or institutions
Engage in scholarly research initiatives and activities, and collaborate with colleagues to enhance patient care related to general genetics/dysmorphology and metabolism
Participate in Department of Pediatrics Division Chiefs and Department Faculty meetings
Serve as a resource for colleagues, medical staff, and healthcare professionals in matters related to pediatric genetics

Required

MD, MD/PhD or equivalent degree
Board certified in Pediatrics and Medical Genetics by ABMGG
