The Associate Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) is responsible for developing testing scenarios for web-based applications and ensuring the functional specifications are fulfilled to promote quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Identify, analyze, and document problems with program functions, outputs, usability, or content
Document software defects, using a bug tracking system, and communicate defects with software engineers
Review software documentation to ensure technical accuracy, compliance, and/or completeness
Perform initial debugging procedures by reviewing configuration files, logs, and/or code pieces to determine source
Install and configure recreations of software production environments to allow testing of software
Use testing programs including Microsoft Playwright and other automated integration and end to end testing solutions
Participate in product design reviews to understand functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
Provide feedback and recommendations to developers on software usability and functionality
Understand existing software configurations and suggest changes to correct errors or to improve its performance
Identify and pursue additional opportunities as they arise to help the individual, the team, and the company achieve success
Will work within an Agile process to record product quality control issues, track progress toward resolutions, communicate effective workarounds for clients and provide estimated completion dates for tested items
