BDO USA is a leading accounting and advisory organization, and they are seeking a Valuation & Capital Market Analysis Associate - Fixed Assets. In this role, the Associate will assist in performing valuation analyses, developing valuation models, conducting market research, and participating in on-site inspections to support clients across various industries.

Responsibilities

Assists in the performance of well-documented valuation analyses and reports for clients in numerous industries
Supports the development of valuation models in Excel and reports in Word for various types of machinery and equipment (personal property) assets
Performs market and economic research on various equipment types and industries
Assists with on-site inspections at client locations to observe personal property and assist in data collection
Intermediate travel required
Other duties as required

Required

Bachelor's degree, required; with a focus in Engineering, Accounting, or a technical degree from an accredited college/university, preferred
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word, required
Effective verbal and written communication skills and solid analytical skills
Creative problem-solving skills
Ability to analyze and organize high volumes of data
Accountability and successful multi-tasking ability
Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment
Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to successfully interact with professionals at all levels

Preferred

Prior experience (internship or work study) in valuation, finance, or engineering, preferred
Manufacturing/ machinery and equipment experience, preferred
