Responsibilities
Work closely with HR Partners to gather and analyze requirements for business needs
Conduct thorough business process analysis to see opportunities for improvement and efficiency
Build detailed and clear documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases
Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Act as a liaison between our partners and engineering team, ensuring clear and effective communication
Collaborate with developers, designers, and quality assurance teams to facilitate the successful delivery of software solutions
Build, test, deploy and maintain various applications supporting business processes and ensure data integrity within applications
Proactively find opportunities for process improvement and optimization
Stay informed about industry standard methodologies and technological advancements to contribute to the evolution of the application engineering process
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a Software Developer or Software Engineer in an application engineering or software development environment
3+ years of experience working in Agile and/or Scrum teams
Expertise in creating and maintaining enterprise level integrations layer with APIs, microservices and data pipelines
Demonstrated ability to engage with business stakeholders and familiarity with market trends relevant to HR technology
Preferred
Experience with HR Domain
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Proficiency in Workday ecosystem
Expertise in micro-services, integrations, APIs and data as a service development
Database: MongoDB, Postgres, Oracle
API protocols: GraphQL, REST
Backends: Java (SprintBoot), Python, Golang
Experience with GenAI, Agentic Coding and Prompt Engineering
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Superb communication and interpersonal skills
