Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, providing guidance and support to achieve department goals

Foster a collaborative, innovative, and results-driven culture within the engineering team

Conduct regular performance reviews, identify skill gaps, and implement training and development programs

Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reductions, and efficiency enhancements in manufacturing operations

Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to optimize production processes

Develop and execute strategies to improve product quality, reduce waste, and increase overall productivity

Manage and oversee engineering projects, including new equipment installations, process modifications, and facility upgrades

Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project completion, within budget, and in accordance with specifications

Prepare project budgets, schedules, and resource plans; track progress and adjust as necessary

Collaborate with R&D, production, and quality teams to ensure smooth and efficient introduction of new products into manufacturing

Develop and optimize production processes for new products, ensuring scalability, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards

Evaluate and validate new equipment, technologies, and processes to support NPI

Oversee the design, selection, installation, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment and facilities

Ensure equipment reliability and performance through regular monitoring, maintenance, and upgrades

Manage the development and implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs

Ensure all engineering activities comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments; implement corrective actions as needed

Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement throughout the engineering team
