Responsibilities
Provide leadership, functional management and technical direction to a team of engineers responsible for electromechanical engineering research, design, development, and production support for the Harness Core Team
Provide the functional directorate, program management, and their customers’ effective project management, accurate and detailed plans and schedules and efficient production support
Further the department’s development, growth, and expertise
Qualification
Required
5+ years professional experience
You must have demonstrated capability to work with other cross functional teams and suppliers in a formative environment, as evidenced by excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to organize, motivate, and lead large groups of diverse personnel that includes customers, partners, and suppliers that are geographically dispersed
You are looking for a best-in-class leader in the design of Flight Cable & Harness Design, having lead multiple Program Design Teams and been sought after as a Subject Matter Expert
You should have extensive experience in Root Cause Analysis, having proven successes in leading investigation teams and implementing Corrective Actions
While no clearance is needed to start in this position, you will need to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance, thus US Citizenship is required
Preferred
Experience with wire harness and cables design of electrical\mechanical interconnects for satellite spacecraft equipment and/or missile systems
ECAD and/or MCAD modeling and drafting experience
Schematic capture, wire list generation, voltage drop analysis
Familiarity with Space programs, flight specifications, and/or COTS electronic equipment/components
Proficiency in Zuken E3 and/or similar ECAD
