Responsibilities

Partner with the CTO and executive leadership team to define and drive the company’s commercial transformation roadmap, aligning product, market, and channel strategies with long-term enterprise goals and customer value
Lead strategic analyses of markets, customers, and competitors to identify growth opportunities and inform product portfolio and resource allocation decisions
Develop clear, data-driven business cases for new initiatives — including new product development, market entries, and customer engagement models
Serve as a thought partner to senior leaders in translating strategy into executable plans with measurable impact
Lead product strategy and product management activities, ensuring alignment of the product portfolio with customer needs, market trends, and profitability objectives
Drive cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, and Operations to deliver differentiated solutions that address customers’ needs and strengthen the company’s market position
Guide the introduction of new offerings and business models, in our traditional transformer markets as well as new markets and through product innovation
Lead a small team of high-performing analysts and product managers, while orchestrating cross-functional teams to execute key strategic initiatives
Establish governance, metrics, and processes to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, on budget, and aligned with enterprise transformation objectives
Influence across the organization to align commercial decision-making with long-term strategic priorities
Partner with the CTO and business leaders to embed a growth-oriented mindset and strengthen enterprise commercial capabilities
Support inorganic growth by developing and refining the company’s commercial M&A strategy, including target identification and prioritization
Conduct early-stage commercial diligence and integration planning to ensure acquired businesses align with strategic and product portfolio goals
Assess potential partnerships, joint ventures, and channel expansion opportunities that accelerate access to new markets and technologies

Required

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
10+ years of progressive experience in commercial strategy, product management, or business development, ideally within industrial manufacturing, energy, or electrical infrastructure
Proven success in developing and executing growth strategies across multiple products, markets, and geographies
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional transformation or growth initiatives in a complex, matrixed environment
Exposure to M&A strategy, including opportunity sourcing, commercial diligence, and integration planning
Experience leading small, high-impact teams while influencing broader organizational change
Strategic and analytical thinker with a strong ability to translate insight into actionable plans
Deep understanding of how product, customer, and market dynamics intersect to drive value creation
Confident, collaborative leader who can engage effectively across technical, commercial, and operational functions
Entrepreneurial and growth-minded, with the ability to operate in both strategic and hands-on modes
Excellent executive communication, presentation, and influence skills
Passion for driving meaningful change within a mission-critical industry undergoing transformation
