They are seeking a School Receptionist to greet visitors, manage communication, and maintain a secure and welcoming environment for students and parents.

Primary/Secondary Education

Responsibilities

Greets visitors, determine their needs, and directs them to the proper person

Answer telephones and respond appropriately to requests for information

Be knowledgeable of school events and operations

Assist parents with student dismissals

Maintain and update attendance records daily including Admit to Class forms for tardy or absent students

Create daily Tardy Report that is given to Principals

Communication is sent to parents when a student is either absent or tardy

Maintains a safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Ensures safety and security of the school, signs visitors in and out, and gives visitor badges when necessary

Assists with Admission related tasks including inquiries from prospective parents and registration on "Welcome Wednesdays."

Answers intercom requests from teachers in the classroom and relays messages as needed

Reports directly to Office Manager
