Responsibilities

Operates all radiographic, fluoroscopic and portable equipment to include Operating room C-Arm and O-Arm procedures; obtains optimal radiographs of designated portions of the body to aid in diagnosis of disease
Performs optimal advanced imaging exams / procedures in one or more advanced modalities; CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, and/or Interventional Radiology, producing the highest quality diagnostic imaging results
If IR, is competent to assist with all interventional procedures
Direct responsibility includes adult, pediatric, and neonatal care patient
Participates in the daily routine of Imaging procedures and including 'On-Call'

Required

Graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Thorough knowledge of radiologic technology, terminology, practice, procedure, physiology and human anatomy
ARRT (R) Registry required
ARRT Advanced Certification (when applicable)
Florida DOH Certified Radiologic Technologist
American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification

Preferred

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
