Responsibilities

Perform Operations and Maintenance of Linux based software running on a variety of bare metal hardware, VMs, and containers
Maintain and validate software configurations to achieve specified results
Triage system alerts and initiate resolution protocols
Effectively communicate status and priorities to mission stakeholders and leadership
Assist in developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures and system documentation
Provide occasional on-call support outside of normal business hours to support critical activities

Required

Top Secret//SCI Security Clearance with Polygraph required
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related engineering, technical, or scientific discipline – 4 years of relevant work and/or military experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
3+ years of relevant professional experience
Experience with scripting languages such as Python or BASH
Extensive knowledge and experience using the Linux command line, with expertise in the following:
Advanced file operations
Managing system services
Remote navigation and file operations
Writing and debugging shell scripts (using BASH)
Basic system monitoring and performance tuning
Large dataset manipulation
Experience analyzing networking protocols using Wireshark

Preferred

Understanding of basic Signals Intelligence operations and reporting
Familiarity with various signal structures: SDH, OTN, Ethernet
Ability to describe the following network protocols: Ethernet, IP, UDP, TCP, VLAN, MPLS, Pseudowire
Experience testing and debugging issues with Client/Server Web-based applications
Familiar with common configuration file formats: XML, JSON, YAML, etc
