As a Project Manager - Lighting Control Specialist, you will oversee all aspects of lighting installations, combining technical knowledge of lighting and electrical systems with strong project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's specifications.

Responsibilities

Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients, sales representatives, and technical teams

Develop comprehensive project plans, including budget forecasting, cost management, and resource allocation

Analyze and review construction documents, electrical plans, and specifications

Coordinate submittals and product specifications for client and contractor approval

Manage project schedules, track progress, and communicate status updates to internal and external stakeholders

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, consultants, contractors, and manufacturers throughout the project lifecycle

Facilitate meetings to address project kickoff, troubleshooting, and closeout

Coordinate with vendors to order materials, track shipments, and expedite deliveries as needed

Work with electricians and contractors to coordinate on-site installation and field service visits

Provide technical assistance and support for architectural lighting, controls, and LED systems

Oversee the creation and review of project documentation, such as bills of materials (BOM), wiring diagrams, and installation details

Ensure all installations comply with electrical codes, industry standards, and safety guidelines

Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, obstacles, and delays

Conduct site walks and inspections to monitor project progress and verify completion

Maintain a thorough understanding of labor agreements and standards specific to projects
