USAJOBS is seeking candidates for an interdisciplinary position serving as the Integrated Command, Control, Communications & Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Analysis Squadron Senior Intelligence Analyst. Responsibilities
Drives strategic messaging and is technical advisor to Squadron, Center, and DoD leadership. Defines develops, and formulates the technical structure, analytical approach, technical policies, procedures, and concepts for the squadron's function, programs and tasks to ensure a balanced program that satisfies intelligence customers
Establishes, directs, and oversees appropriate analytic methodologies to maintain and improve quality and quantity of analysis based on current and anticipated information, methods, and techniques. Clarifies and elaborates on Chief Scientist and Technical Director's production policies, objectives, goals, and guidance
Provides senior level oversight in Squadron resource reviews to determine sufficiency and effect on the Squadron's products. Advises the Squadron Commander as required in the review, evaluation, prioritizing, and integration of future resource requirements, personnel training, and skillsets required to ensure adequacy and consistency within Squadron analytic programs
Represents NASIC and USAF in technical meetings and conferences with all levels of government and industry up to DoD and National Intelligence levels, and in Special Project programs. These programs are of intense interest to major elements of the Intelligence Community as well as numerous clients at the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS), DoD, HQ USAF, Combatant Commands (CCMDs), and MAJCOM level
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship Required
Must have a B.A. or B.S. degree from an accredited institution with a preference in the following fields: electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, computer engineering, mathematics, physics, and/or computer science
Transcripts must be verified prior to appointment
Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements
Must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program
Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing
Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays
Employee must maintain current certifications
Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position
Knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices relating to scientific and technical intelligence assessments and threat analysis of foreign aircraft and weapon systems
High degree of technical competence, judgement, leadership, creativity, and intellectual resourcefulness
Knowledge to the development of new methods, approaches and procedures
Knowledge of Operations Security (OPSEC), National Intelligence Priority Framework (NIPF), and Defense Intelligence Analysis Program (DIAP) is required
Knowledge of NASIC programs, plans, manpower, funding, goals, priorities, commitments, and acquisition processes
Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, both orally and in writing
Ability to work and influence people at all levels of government in a professional manner with peers, management, contractors, and other agencies
Preferred
A master's degree in a related field is highly desired
