Responsibilities
Provide legal guidance and support to the practice on a wide range of matters, including litigation, corporate transactions, real estate, healthcare regulations, contracts, employment law, corporate governance, and risk management
Review, draft, and negotiate complex legal documents including contracts, agreements, leases, and policies
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and industry standards
Conduct legal research and stay current on developments in litigation, real estate, corporate, and healthcare law
Collaborate with executives, managers, and department heads to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice
Represent the practice in litigation, corporate, and real estate matters as necessary
Coordinate with outside counsel and oversee external legal matters
Assist in developing and implementing corporate legal policies and procedures
Qualification
Required
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Licensed to practice in New York (required)
Significant experience in litigation, corporate transactions, and real estate law
Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience required
Proven ability to manage complex legal matters with strategic and business-minded thinking
Excellent research, writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills
Ability to work independently while thriving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred
Licensed to practice in New Jersey (preferred)
Strong knowledge of federal and state healthcare laws and compliance requirements a plus
