Responsibilities
Collaborate and communicate with other academic leaders within and across schools
Maintain current knowledge regarding legal and regulatory requirements
Prepare, maintain, and submit records and reports to meet accreditation and university needs in a timely and accurate manner
Participate in functions and activities that advance the mission, values and vision of the program and university
Work with the Admissions department in identifying potential students/sources, participating in scheduled recruitment activities, and providing guidance for messaging and communication with prospective students
Oversee and participate in curriculum review, evaluation, and assessment
Provide recommendations and justifications for annual budget development and ensure expenditures are within the allocated budget
Perform instructional duties as assigned and in accordance with university standards
Assign faculty courseload
Provide supervision, mentoring, and assistance with evaluation of program faculty
Engage in faculty development to maintain and develop technical and professional skills
Oversee programmatic data collection, analysis, and implementation of appropriate curricular and programmatic changes
Support university and college strategic plans
Perform additional tasks as needed and/or requested
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in healthcare administration or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
Five years related experience teaching within a higher education institution and/or a combination of higher education experience and related job experience in healthcare administration
Preferred
Doctoral degree in healthcare administration or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education
Supervisory or management experience
