Argmax, Inc. is seeking an intern to join their On-device AI Frameworks team. In this role, you will design and optimize software frameworks for running inference workloads on mobile devices, while collaborating with experienced engineers and addressing customer issues.

Responsibilities

Contribute to SDK and Frameworks implementation: You will help implement new model support (example) and new features (example) as Argmax SDK grows. You will observe and learn from senior engineers at Argmax as they design the implementation spec that you will work on
Respond to customer issues: You will be one of the first at Argmax to review customer issue reports, ask for supporting information, reproduce the issue, root-cause the issue, and finally propose viable workarounds as well as permanent fixes. Senior engineers at Argmax will support your growth as you learn to tackle this critical responsibility autonomously over time

Required

3-6 months of hands-on experience in SDK or Frameworks development for iOS or Android
Familiarity with Swift OR (Kotlin AND C++)
Familiarity with profiling and optimizing mobile application

Preferred

1+ year of hands-on experience in SDK or Frameworks development for iOS or Android
Fluency in Swift, Kotlin and Python
Familiarity with at least one of Core ML, MLX Swift, LiteRT, ONNX, WebGPU or ExecuTorch
