Responsibilities
Assist with day-to-day accounting activities, including account reconciliations and journal entries
Support the preparation of timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure data accuracy
Provide administrative and organizational support to financial reporting, labor, and other accounting teams
Assist with audits, compliance, and other special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience
Strong organizational and time-management skills with keen attention to detail
Excellent communication skills; professional, clear and well-spoken
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
Completion of university-level accounting coursework
Work experience in business management or accounting-related functions
Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office programs
High degree of initiative and willingness to work extended hours during busy periods
Interest in pursuing a formal accounting degree, CPA or related certification
