Responsibilities
Develop and manage the organization's annual budget process, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and priorities
Monitor financial performance and prepare regular reports for senior leadership and the board of directors
Implement financial controls and risk management strategies to safeguard the organization's assets
Support fundraising efforts, donor relations, and special events, supporting programmatic goals
Monitor and oversee payroll
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop long-term strategic plans and objectives
Identify opportunities for revenue growth, cost optimization, and program expansion to maximize impact
Conduct market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape
Manage day-to-day operations, including human resources, member management, finance, and administrative functions
Streamline processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the organization
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, including tax filings and reporting obligations
Cultivate strategic partnerships with government agencies, corporations, foundations, and other stakeholders to advance the organization's mission
Negotiate contracts, MOUs, and other agreements to support collaborative initiatives and programs
Represent the organization at meetings, conferences, and public events to enhance visibility and support fundraising efforts
Provide leadership and direction to a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability
Mentor and develop staff members, providing opportunities for growth and advancement within the organization
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create a supportive and inclusive work environment
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field
Proven experience in financial management, human resource management, strategic planning, and operations leadership, preferably in the non-profit sector
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret financial data to inform decision-making
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
Demonstrated leadership ability, with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams
Commitment to the organization's mission and values, with a passion for making a positive impact in the community
