Paralegal/Regulatory and Compliance Coordinator
Dental Health Services is an employee-owned company focused on delivering specialized healthcare solutions. They are seeking a Regulatory & Compliance Coordinator to ensure adherence to legal standards and internal policies in the dental HMO industry.

Responsibilities
Understand and adhere to all compliance requirements related to the dental insurance industry
Prepare, review, and submit regulatory documents for submissions, amendments, continuing reviews, and protocol deviations
Maintain complete and up-to-date regulatory binders
Develop and manage electronic regulatory files per institutional and sponsor standards
Track protocol approvals, renewals, and amendments to ensure regulatory compliance
Regularly audit company procedures, practices, and documents to identify possible weaknesses or risk
Assess company operations to determine compliance risk
Ensure all employees are educated on the latest regulations and processes
Resolve employee concerns about legal compliance
Keep abreast of internal standards and business goals
Ensure the company is in compliance with all health and safety regulations
Monitor changes in relevant legislation and accreditation standards that might affect the company's policies or practices
Collaborate with corporate attorneys to monitor enforcement of standards and regulations
Assess the business's future ventures to identify possible compliance risks
Review the work of colleagues when necessary to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training
Prepare and present clear and concise compliance reports to the management
Performs any and all additional duties as required for this position
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3+ years of experience in a similar role preferably in the managed healthcare industry
Proven experience with dental HMO or managed healthcare regulations is a must
In-depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations
Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record-keeping
Methodical and diligent with outstanding planning abilities
An analytical mind able to 'see' the complexities of procedures and regulations
Excellent communication skills
Bachelor's degree in law, business administration, or related field
