Responsibilities

Operating and maintaining the hyperbaric chamber and associated systems as prescribed by a physician
Monitoring patients in the chamber, including recording condition and ensuring comfort during treatment
Maintaining applicable operating, maintenance, and safety logs
Maintaining accurate patient records

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
Must be certified and/or licensed in one of the following vocations or hold a diploma from an accredited institution in one of the following professions: Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT), Certified Hyperbaric Specialist (CHS), Certified Hyperbaric and Wound Care Specialist (CHWS), Documented Hyperbaric Medicine Training, Respiratory Therapist; Physician's Assistant; EMT or Paramedic; Military Corpsman; Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse; Nurse Practitioner; Physician or Physiologist; Certified Nurse Aide, Certified Medical Assistant, Patient Care Technician
1 year experience as a hyperbaric technician
BLS
Must complete Introductory Hyperbaric Training Course as approved by the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology within 90 days of hire

Preferred

Certified Hyperbaric Technologist from the National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology
