Responsibilities
Serve as the finance SME for features and workflows across our education solutions
Lead discovery sessions to identify clients’ financial, operational, and reporting requirements
Design and recommend solution architecture integrating finance modules, ERP systems, e-commerce platforms, and learning systems
Support pre-sales activities, including product demonstrations, solution proposals, and technical documentation
Collaborate with implementation teams to ensure accurate configuration, deployment, and testing of solutions
Analyze and optimize end-to-end financial processes such as billing, tuition payments, procurement, revenue recognition, budgeting, and reporting
Provide guidance on integrating payment gateways, e-commerce storefronts, and student purchase flows
Troubleshoot system issues, validate data integrity, and ensure smooth financial operations
Train clients and internal stakeholders on system functionalities and best practices
Stay updated on industry trends in EdTech, ERP technology, and digital commerce
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience as a Solution Consultant
Strong background in finance processes (AP/AR, GL, billing, procurement, revenue)
Proven hands-on experience with NetSuite (must-have) and other ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday)
Experience with e-commerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce) and payment systems
Ability to transform business needs into actionable technical specifications
Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities
Ability to travel within the Central Virginia region as needed for the client support
Preferred
Experience within the education sector (K-12, higher ed, training organizations)
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
