State Farm Insurance Sales Representative
State Farm is an industry leader in insurance, and they are seeking a Sales/Account Manager to manage existing client relationships and seek new clients. The role involves identifying insurance opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and supporting team members in a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and develop personal insurance opportunities with new and existing clients in person, online, by phone, and through written communication
Foster and maintain excellent relationships with clients and prospects through regular follow-up, accurate and timely quotations, and general account support. Anticipate, respond to, and follow up on all existing client needs
Actively prospect, solicit & network for new clients, including former customers
Obtain best coverage/rate for insured, process quotes, and bind insurance coverage; follow up as necessary. Present policies to insured and educate them
Support clients for retention and maintain strong client relationships
Collaborate with team members, mentor staff, provide expertise and answer questions, and participate in formal and informal meetings as needed
Maintain CE and participate in ongoing education and keep informed on new product information and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance
Possess a positive personality & desire to help others
Treat customers the way you expect to be treated during every interaction
Qualification
Required
Demonstrate strong knowledge of insurance products, underwriting procedures, coverages, and industry trends to effectively secure new business and maintain an existing client base
Be people-oriented, customer-focused, and professionally assertive in developing new client relationships and servicing existing clients
Possess outstanding organizational skills with an ability to complete assignments without supervision, sound judgment, strong decision-making, and superior written and verbal communication skills
Have excellent time management skills, thrive in a team environment, and Technology and Computer proficiency including agency management systems
Obtain an insurance license through the State of Illinois for Property & Casualty, Life & Health
