Project Engineer - Water/Wastewater

They are seeking a Water/Wastewater Engineer to support municipal water projects, conducting evaluations and designs while working alongside senior engineers and project managers.
Responsibilities
Collaborating and working with a multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of water, wastewater, and stormwater design projects
Participating in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projects and tasks
Coordinating project assignments with those of other engineers and technicians within the local and regional water group
Completing civil design calculations for a variety of projects, sketches, technical comparisons, and similar technical work as required by each assignment
Assisting in the development of plans, specifications, and cost estimates
Participating in professional organizations for marketing, industry recognition, networking, and building the Jacobs brand
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other related engineering discipline, is required
At least 3 years of consulting experience for water and wastewater clients
Experience in serving various clients involving a wide variety of fields including drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater conveyance systems
Demonstrated understanding of water and wastewater conveyance and/or treatment processes and technologies, master planning and condition assessments
Willingness to learn Jacobs' proprietary tools
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Technical writing, reviewing, and providing clear, concise input to investigations, memorandums, or solutions reports
Working knowledge and understanding of local and state design codes and standards
Proficient knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Experience in AutoCAD and ESRIArcGIS is required
Preferred
Professional Engineer license, or the ability to obtain within one year
Master's degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or equivalent
Experience managing deliverables to scope, schedule and budget
Experience providing services during construction
Involvement in professional society organizations, community organization or other leadership roles with volunteer organizations
Self-motivated, initiator; demonstrated through professional society involvements or related activities
