Responsibilities

Support mechanical design and prototyping for radar system components and test fixtures
Perform hands-on assembly and integration of hardware subsystems, enclosures, and supporting structures
Create and modify CAD models and engineering drawings in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software
Assist with basic mechanical analysis, fit checks, and tolerance verification
Contribute to lab organization, part tracking, and test setup preparation
Take ownership of a hands-on design project, such as creating a mechanical prototype, jig, or test fixture that directly supports active radar development

Required

Currently pursuing a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
Rising junior or senior (expected graduation 2026 or 2027)
Strong interest in mechanical design, prototyping, and hardware assembly
Proficiency in SolidWorks (or similar CAD software)
Comfortable using basic shop tools and working hands-on with mechanical assemblies
Collaborative mindset with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced lab environment
