Responsibilities
Perform development and analysis activities to support various MDHHS applications
Provide ongoing application maintenance, enhancements, and troubleshooting
Develop, maintain, and optimize REST web service interfaces and Web APIs
Write and maintain complex SQL queries, including Select, Insert, and Update statements
Implement code supporting user document uploads from web interfaces
Participate in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and development
Utilize GIT repositories for version control and code management
Develop robust unit and regression tests to ensure software quality
Support frontend development using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
Qualification
Required
5+ years of .NET CORE 3.1 or higher (6.0 preferred) and C# development
5+ years working with RESTful services or Web APIs
5+ years of SQL experience with complex statements
3+ years developing web-based document upload functionality
5+ years working within Agile/SCRUM environments
5+ years working with GIT repositories
5+ years developing unit and regression test suites
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
C# and .NET Core development
REST/Web API development
SQL (complex query development)
Preferred
5+ years developing secure websites using industry best practices (e.g., prevention of SQL injection, cross-site scripting, logging controls)
3+ years working with Azure DevOps/TFS boards and code repositories
Familiarity with SendGrid
Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards
Experience integrating identity providers (IdP) using OpenID Connect (OIDC) or SAML
Experience working with Azure DevOps or Jira
