Responsibilities
Experience in Vantage-One/wmA is mandatory
5 years of strong experience in development in the following skills (COBOL, VSAM, IBM, DB2 Tools)
Development, Coding, Customization, Product Development, Bug fixing, and Developing code by languages like JCL COBOL on Vantage-One products
Technical skillset Mainframe, COBOL, VSAM, IBM tools, DB2, EZT, JCL, Microfocus
Provide technical expertise and support to team efforts, acting as a subject matter expert in specific domains
Assist in solving complex technical challenges, researching and proposing solutions
Debug and troubleshoot production issues, working closely with operations and support teams
Contribute to the assessment and adoption of new technologies and best practices
Mentor junior team members, providing guidance and knowledge sharing
Qualification
Required

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience developing Life Insurance products is mandatory
5+ years of relevant work experience in the insurance industry, with a minimum of 2+ years in Vantage/WMA
Strong programming and debugging skills
Familiarity with software development practices and methodologies. Scrum/Waterfall are ideal
Strong problem-solving skills
Good team collaboration and communication abilities
Willingness to take ownership of complex technical challenges
All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred
Domain Life Insurance (LOMA 280 or 290 will be added advantage) will be preferred
