Responsibilities
Managing the relationship with our collection agencies
Balancing between Zurich systems and the collection agency systems
Collects and reconciles premiums and non-premiums, invoices or applies cash in order to maximize
Collects and minimizes outstanding balances and delinquencies to assigned accounts
Provides technical guidance, work direction, and analytical support to the team
Assigned accounts are typically of low to moderate complexity/exposure
Role has authority to cancel policies for non-payment in accordance with pre-defined guidelines and protocol
Role also has limited authority to extend credit or to negotiate and settle payment plans
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree and 3 or more years of experience in the Finance Operations area OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 5 or more years of experience in the Finance Operations area
Knowledge of insurance industry agreements and loss sensitive programs
Preferred
Strong written and verbal communication
Proficient with Excel
Ability to work with large amounts of data
