Lead Linux and Data Administrator

The Lead Linux and Data Administrator will work with a global engineering support team to define, implement, and maintain a Linux-centric engineering environment while mentoring junior team members and overseeing projects to modernize and optimize the engineering environment.

Responsibilities
Lead the implementation, management, and compliance/security elements of network attached storage elements on-prem and in cloud for a global hardware and software engineering environment
Be a primary partner between Engineering IT, Engineering Enablement, and engineering business units, defining, designing and implementing standards for engineers within Analog Devices
Oversee project/platform delivery and business continuity of data storage/access, systems and tools
Drive a technical product delivery team responsible for identity access management and NAS solutions – Network Appliance, OnTap, Dirsrv, Kerberos, Redhat Products, AWS Cloud
Automate and develop using Python, scripting languages, Dev-Ops Workflows, Lamda Functions and AI/ML
Provide leadership to junior and operations team members, striving for continuous improvement and operational excellence
Qualification
Required
5-10 years' experience in Linux systems and/or storage administration roles with increasing responsibility and leadership over this period
Experience leading teams to invent, improve, evolve and modernize storage and identity solutions in a global environment
Demonstrate experience in the establishment of scalable and sustainable solutions, aligning with industry best practices for integrated circuit and software developers
Experience with engineering design technologies such as Redhat, Network Appliance
Experience implementing modern infrastructure concepts and practices such as IAM, IaC, CI/CD, Cloud Storage, Agile/Scrum practice
Solid understanding storage hardware configuration and management in a global environment
Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Works well in a team environment and has project management experience
Preferred
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent industry experience
Redhat certifications: RHCSA (RH294), Ansible (D0374), IdM (EX362)
Network Appliance: Certified Data Administrator - On-Tap, Cloud and Storage Engineer
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
