Responsibilities
Reconcile Checkout.com's payment gateway processing across multiple bank accounts and providers
Connect with internal and external partners to resolve queries in an effective and timely manner
Identify discrepancies, the respective root causes, and take action to eliminate and prevent any such in perspective
Perform safeguarding reconciliation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Identify and resolve safeguarding issues in a timely manner
Develop and implement controls to optimize safeguarding and reconciliation processes
Support the implementation of reconciliation systems (internal, external)
Perform automation work and support new product projects alongside cross-functional teams
Improve processes, while maintaining robust controls
Be an SME in reconciliations, systems and tools of online payment transactions, apply commanding knowledge of clearing and settlement processes to balance priorities in project delivery
Support the team on audits both internal and external
Continually develop skills and knowledge in line with business growth and expansion
Qualification
Required
1-2 years of work experience in high-volume transaction reconciliation
A university degree in a numerical subject with a strong academic record
Very good knowledge of MS Excel, including formulas, PowerQuery, or VBA
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with large data sets with confidence
Knowledge of Card Schemes, Alternative Payment Methods, or Payin/Payout solutions
A consistent track record of finding end-to-end solutions to issues and collaborating with cross-functional and remote teams
The ability to meet tight deadlines in an evolving environment with often shifting priorities
The ability to self-manage individual projects of high complexity and automate manual tasks
Experience building relationships with key partner groups to achieve business outcomes and improve process efficiency
English proficiency and excellent communication skills at all levels
