Manager, Financial Consolidation & Reporting

Responsibilities

Prepare consolidated financial reporting packages (income statement) and financial statements (balance sheet, cash flow, equity) to support both internal reporting to executives and SEC reporting
Analyze financial results using data analytics and visualization tools to provide insights to support the business and leadership
Support transition of consolidation and planning processes to EPM software by serving as primary administrator for new cloud-based system after implementation
Manage system configurations, user access, and security protocols, and partner with IT and finance teams on future build-out, upgrades, and integrations
Administer and maintain reconciliation software, including managing all administrative settings, configuring user access, monitoring reconciliation statuses, troubleshoot issues, and ensuring data accuracy
Understand the internal controls framework and help drive compliance
Work closely with internal and external auditors to drive progress towards reporting deadlines
Prepare and complete census reports, ensuring accuracy, adherence to reporting deadlines, and compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements
Assist with ad-hoc projects and analysis as needed

Required

BS/BA/MS degree in accounting or related field
CPA, active license status required
4-6 years progressive experience in public accounting or public company environments
Ability to deliver accurate and timely accounting and financial reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, to be able to identify, pro-actively propose system and process improvements
Knowledge of and experience with Sarbanes-Oxley internal control requirements
Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously and effectively
Ability to listen to the needs of stakeholders, articulate issues in a clear and simplified manner, and present findings

Preferred

Comfortable working with large datasets and creating impactful summaries
Experience using data analysis and visualization tools (e.g. Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI)
Experience with finance transformation and/or financial system implementation
Experience with SEC reporting requirements
