The Fraud Intelligence Analyst will lead investigations into fraud and abuse patterns, analyze threat vectors, and provide insights to enhance product defenses against evolving threats.

Responsibilities

Investigate complex fraud incidents and threat activity targeting Nametag and our customers

Identify and analyze the TTPs (Tools, Techniques, and Procedures) used by fraudsters and organized threat groups

Build intelligence profiles and link analyses that reveal key actors, networks, and motivations

Monitor fraud trends and benchmark Nametag’s defenses against emerging tactics

Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate intelligence into preventive solutions

Produce concise, actionable, customer-facing reports summarizing findings for internal and external audiences

Maintain situational awareness of fraud ecosystems, cybercrime communities, and identity-related attack vectors

Required

Background in intelligence, law enforcement, military, or financial fraud investigation

Experience in digital investigations, computer forensics, or OSINT/SOCMINT research

Deep understanding of online fraud or cybercrime methodologies

Documents analysis experience

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills - able to synthesize data into clear narratives

Exceptional written communication and report-writing skills

Comfortable operating autonomously and handling sensitive information responsibly

Preferred

Familiarity with fraud detection, threat intelligence, or forensics tools is a plus
