Own and set the overall strategic direction for the business unit and align with broader Walmart strategies
Drive the planning, budgeting, forecasting and growth for your categories
Establish and influence high-visibility supplier relationships
Determine and support resource requirements, evaluate operational processes, measure outcomes and identify and capitalize on improvement opportunities
Look for creative ideas to drive business improvements, innovation, and customer experience
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
5 years' experience in merchandising or related field OR 7 years' experience in merchandising or related field
4 years' experience with direct responsibility for profit and loss (P&L) statements
Preferred
Merchandising or related field
Supervisory experience
