Electrical Commissioning Engineer – Drives and Excitation Systems 70-100%
INP Schweiz AG is a dynamic team in the power plant sector, supporting clients in the execution of power plant projects. The Electrical Commissioning Engineer will lead the commissioning of generator excitation and drive systems, ensuring successful configuration, testing, and collaboration with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Lead commissioning of generator excitation and / or frequency converter systems
Take responsibility for configuring, testing, start up and commissioning of excitation and drive systems including auxiliaries
Work on large scale power plants or industrial plants worldwide
Collaborate with Commissioning Engineers and Customers of various background and expertise
Troubleshoot problems on excitation and converters in collaboration with other technical experts
Qualification
Required
Electrical Technician or Engineering degree
Hands-on experience with commissioning power electronic equipment of proven manufacturers
Willingness to work internationally on challenging commissioning projects
You are a team player and do well with interactions with customers / co-workers / etc. of other cultures
Ability to communicate in English
Preferred
Preferably experience with established products in this field (for instance Siemens RG3-S, ABB Unitrol, GE LS2100 etc.)
